We have known this family for more than three years, and all these three years we try to support this courageous boy in his difficult struggle for health.Dima has hydrocephalus.It would seem that in our age of modern technology, when medicine has already stepped far ahead, this disease is not so terrible. But, unfortunately, not in Dima's case. By a sad coincidence of circumstances, or by the will of fate, by the moment of our acquaintance Dima's disease had already become life-threatening - the boy's head weight was 15 kilos (!!!), and the circumference was 75 cm. Luckily, there was a man who risked to save the boy's life saving surgery - the famous neurosurgeon Dmitry Zinenko. At the Research Clinical Institute of Pediatrics in Moscow Dima was established shunting system. More than six months have passed since the surgery and the boy is in need of constant supportive therapy and care products.
