THE BIRTHDAY OF A STRONG BOY - EGOR BOYKO
The status of "orphan", the insidious diagnosis of cancer, which had to be fought alone, the feelings of loneliness, betrayal and endless pain - all this on a fragile boy's shoulders. The story of Yegor Boiko, an orphan boy diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, resonated with thousands of people's hearts, who helped the boy go through several stages of treatment for the insidious disease. However, the "battle" is not over yet, and the boy continues to receive supportive therapy in his home boarding school. Today is Egorchik's main celebration of the year - his birthday. He is now fully grown up, he is 14. This happy day takes him to the orphanage, a place where he feels safe and well.
That's where our volunteers went, bringing presents, a great mood, and a festive poster to wish the strongest boy Egor a Happy Birthday!
When Egor opened the bag of gifts there was nothing but happiness: inside there was the sports suit, which he had been dreaming about so much, from the management and staff of Vector supermarket chain, and books with Egor's favourite characters from our team of volunteers. He also got a wonderful bestselling book called "Reopen the World", which inspires him to dream, create and believe in his own strength!
