Anna spent almost a year and a half in Donetsk oncology ward fighting the cancer. Good tests followed by bad ones, treatment protocols were changing, but she never…
HEROES ARE NOT BORN, THEY BECOME HEROES!
Once in an oncology ward, every child experiences fear... It becomes incomprehensible why their mother cries, and why grown-up uncles and aunts in white coats hurt them, saying they want to help... Why you can't run or jump, why your favorite candy no longer appears on the table, and why you have to look at the beauty of spring through the hospital window? There is only one explanation: the baby's body has been attacked by cancer. We can't heal your baby from a terrible illness, but we can give him or her a little bit of kindness and happiness!
In the manipulation rooms of Donetsk oncology departments we installed our #DoGoodBoxes, which help kids take the painful punctures and frequent tests easier. Going to a medical procedure, every child knows that he or she will always find a little pleasant surprise in the "Box of courage"... You just need to be brave for the time of the analysis and dare to endure unpleasant sensations and pain!
Our team would like to thank the students of Accounting and Finance Faculty of Donetsk National University for supporting the "Box of Courage" project and helping children with cancer!
Give a little bit of courage to every child with cancer by joining our Box of Courage project! You can donate small toys, beautiful stationery, and interesting coloring books to our #GoodBox. If you have any questions or suggestions, please write to the group or Victoria Fedorchenko.
Little heroes are waiting for miracles! Let's do good deeds for them every day!
