Sonia's mom writes: Good afternoon, everyone! For the first time in 5 months the doctors let us go home for the weekend! I am afraid even to say it out loud, so as not to jinx it: Now my little girl is in remission. Sonya feels well, but her lab results are not good. Her white blood cell count is very low and this prevents us from starting…
Every child who passed away is a wound in our hearts that has not healed to this day. And during the foundation's existence we have many of them. It is a nagging pain that is with us forever. Death has taken our children when we least expected it. But in moments of loss, we are sure to have a new little life that needs our help. That is how, with wounded souls, getting up again, we continue to fight cancer, CMA, immunodeficiency and many other murderous and dangerous diagnoses, so that children can live and be HEALTHY.
And one thing we know for sure, that God gives us strength, patience and faith and that He put us on such an important and partly righteous task - to save children's lives, so under His guidance we are on the right track. And we are also incredibly supported by your kindness, which you willingly share to help save children's lives with us. There are many more recoveries than deaths, which means that life is still stronger than death. And we will fight for every child that the Lord sends us, continuing to believe that we can do more, when we are with Him and with you!
