"This is my best birthday ever!" - These were the words we heard from young Lisa Nasirova. A lot of friends she met in the hospital, a lot of congratulations, dream gifts, a delicious cake from Marina Zefirkina, balloons, a birthday poster, wishes, and lots of smiles and joy. And it was all in one day for the fragile and talented Lisa,…
We want to share with you the good news and the feelings and emotions that we have experienced and are experiencing so far! The World Children's Winners Games were held in Moscow, which is a sports competition for children with cancer, held annually by the charity foundation "The Gift of Life".
The winners games is more than just a competition; it is a celebration of those who have already achieved their most important victory - the victory over their disease. Children from 16 countries came to this holiday, and it means almost 500 winners! Because the participants of the Games overcame fear, pain and despair to achieve the main victory in their life - victory over cancer.
Games prove and give to all of us to understand that our children are recovered and they are real heroes and winners.
With overwhelming feeling of pride and admiration we want to tell about the most important for us winners. Oleg Kim is our pride and our brave hero.
Olezhka with dignity presented our wonderful city of Donetsk, taking part in several competitions: chess, table tennis and shooting. We were all holding fists and worried, because the rivals were strong and worthy! And ....., our hero won. He won a bronze medal (but for us it is the most precious and gold in the world) in a chess tournament, from an athlete from India, who was trained for a year by his personal coach, and our Oleg has been the only, but the most intelligent and patient coach in the world - his loving, kind and wise mother. Tamilochka, you are so clever and we will never stop admiring you! The minutes of awarding are unforgettable.
They were so emotional, full of feelings and accumulated emotions that our not so numerous support group exploded with a storm of emotions and echoed, as it seemed to us, the whole world, so we wanted us all to rejoice and cheer for our winner. Oleg, you are the real hero. We hope that your victory will be encouragement for many children to fight the disease. We are very proud of you and we believe that this victory is not the last.
