Because of the acetone we can't continue the chemotherapy... The acetone isn't going away, we haven't been able to finish the first protocol for ten days now - Radomira Basha's mother writes. This is the reaction we had with the third high dose chemotherapy. The acetone began to increase on the third day after we received the IV.…
Once a year every child has a special day... Some look forward to the arrival of the New Year, while others have their dreams come true on their birthday... At this magical moment, joy overflows from the knowledge that all the brightest, funniest and happiest things are ahead...
There is also a special moment in the life of children with cancer. A day when their main dream comes true and the little heroes leave the walls of the hospital ward, a place that is always painful and especially scary... Scary not because the monsters can crawl out from under the bed and scare them with their sharp teeth, or the thunder rumbles stronger than usual! It's scary because the monster you have to fight is invisible.
Such an important and joyful day has come in Radachka Bash's life - the HOLY WEEKEND PRESIDENT'S DAY!
For almost a year, Mirachka's second home was a hospital ward. The diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia broke into the happy childhood of the little girl, in which she laughed, ran on the green grass, rode on swings with her brother, and danced. Cancer took away all the reasons for the former happy smiles, giving instead a bald head, a hospital bed, and a hell of a lot of pain... Pain through which Rada smiled... It's amazing how, after going through something like this, this baby doll found the strength to communicate, to laugh, and to rejoice...
Discharge of a baby girl. Happy anticipation of the long-awaited homecoming and the joyful anticipation of knowing that only the best is ahead! As always, Rada is smiling... Except it's not her usual smile... Fear is gone from the children's eyes. And that's the most important and valuable thing!
Radachka is a little fairy... Magical, with huge eyes and such a sweet childlike spontaneity...
Everybody accompanied Radachka to her car: doctors, medical personnel, parents of other kids... Over the long year, everyone fell in love with this little girl! She embraced everyone with tenderness, amused everyone with her talks and touched everyone with her rhymes and congratulations! Radachka is mischievous, cute and not a bit whimsical!
