МАЛЕНЬКИЙ ПРАЗДНИК В ОГРОМНОМ ОНКООТДЕЛЕНИИ ИЛИ С ДНЕМ РОЖДЕНИЯ, САША

We met Sashenka Kasyanova in 2019. The 6-year-old girl was urgently taken to the first surgery department of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital with a huge tumor on her eye. Doctors diagnosed Sasha - rhabdomyosarcoma had progressed at an incredible rate.
With this terrible news a new chapter of the little girl's life - the fight against cancer - began. After the first course of chemotherapy Sasha faced the most severe complications. She just lay curled up and cried silently in pain. And how hard the girl endured changes of her appearance - loss of hair and painful eyes! Several times Sasha was in a critical condition - a little body, attacked by an aggressive disease, just could not cope. But Sasha, like a brave fighter, fought for her life and believed tirelessly that everything would be okay! Six months later Sasha was discharged home: the main stages of treatment were passed, the body responded to treatment. But...

A month ago Sasha got the old diagnosis again... Only a new word was added - "relapse". The cancer came back with renewed vigor... Yesterday the girl had a holiday - her 8th birthday, which Sasha had to celebrate in the gray walls of the first surgery department of the Republican Clinical University Hospital. But you know... We sincerely believe that when it's a holiday, dreams come true! That's why we tried to make a real little party for our birthday girl: with cake, balloons and gifts! And how happy that our efforts were reflected on Sashenka's face in a smile!
