This conclusion came from the Department of Pathatology of Moscow's Dmitriy Rogachev Clinic, where Sonyechka's whole kidney was urgently transported the very next day after the operation to undergo immunohistochemical examinations and, of course, to decide on further treatment methods.
Sonyechka has already had several blocks of chemotherapy at the first surgery department of Donetsk Regional Children's Hospital. Our brilliant oncologists managed to achieve excellent results - in a short period the tumour shrank by 30%! Of course, in front of the baby it will be a long and very difficult road to recovery. But luckily, everything possible is being done for children with cancer in our country.
At the moment, the leading specialists of Ministry of Health of the Republic of DPR are negotiating with several specialized clinics in Moscow about the possibility of Sonichka's further treatment in Russia at the expense of the Russian Federation Ministry of Health.
