More than sweets, the kids from the Shakhtarsky Orphanage and Boarding School love to have fun! Everything here is always special. A special atmosphere, a special smell, and, of course, special kids. Every time I come here I feel a little sad. Especially when you see new faces in the younger group. This means one thing - kids were transferred…
We are writing these words with tears of joy in our eyes.
Over the past 10 months a lot has changed in the life of Rodion: a comfortable home was replaced by hospital walls, a hospital bed and IV fluids instead of fun games, and his favorite sweets were intravenous glucose. And the diagnosis was acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Life was divided into two parts: Before Cancer and After. Blood punctures and transfusions became reality, not scary words from medical books.
All the 10 months of treatment the boy endured hard and unchildish ordeals, which fell to his lot in life: the constant pain shackling his whole body, long blood transfusions, excruciating punctures and daily IVs.
His loving mother was always with him, who never let him get upset and gave him a positive mood. Thanks to the positive emotions and timely treatment the disease began to recede, and the results of medical tests were improved.
And now our team congratulated Rodion with the long-awaited discharge. The main treatment for our smiling bunny is over! The little boy went to his comfortable home, where he will continue with the home treatment of the maintenance therapy and rehabilitation period of his exhausted body.
We thank the wonderful doctors of paediatric oncohematology department - the professionals with the biggest letter, and personally the attending physician Yuldasheva Svetlana for the saved lives of our favorite babies, for their hard work and sleepless nights, for the love and warmth they gave us. Thank you! A big bow! Peace and prosperity to your families!
Rodik, we ask God to make you happy and healthy! You are a real brave and strong hero! We love you! May all your dreams come true! We believe that all will be well!
