Sonia's mom writes: Good afternoon, everyone! For the first time in 5 months the doctors let us go home for the weekend! I am afraid even to say it out loud, so as not to jinx it: Now my little girl is in remission. Sonya feels well, but her lab results are not good. Her white blood cell count is very low and this prevents us from starting…
Today I'm as happy as anyone, they're discharging me," Kira greeted us with a bright smile on her face. I've had time to get used to the doctors, the guys and you for six months, and I'll miss you. Mommy is crying with joy, she must have suffered more than anyone, because for me it was a difficult period, and Mommy took my pain as her own. This is our little victory with her. Thank you to everyone who was there for me and supported me.
The important phase of Kira's treatment is over, behind 5 blocks of chemotherapy and a lot of experience of how to learn to live with pain and appreciate every day. And there are a number of lumbar punctures, supportive therapy and regular tests ahead. So the fight goes on, but this time it's with his family and friends and his beloved cat Tom.
We would like to give special thanks to animator ACUNA MATATA for making Kira feel solemn when she was discharged.
