Imagine a toddler with a huge, sincere smile. His knees are covered in green, his cap is on his side, and he has his favorite car in his hands. He has a mouth soaked in his favorite chocolates and a T-shirt with a doggie. This baby is happy.
Now imagine that same baby bald, with pain and terror stuck in his eyes. The baby has cancer, a silent and extremely cruel enemy. Cancer violently bursts into children's lives and robs happy babies of their carefree childhoods
It brings tears to your eyes to realize that there are so many children with cancer, each with their own tragic history and war that doesn't stop for a moment. In the Donetsk departments of oncohematology for children of the Guskov Institute of Oncology and Hematology. Gusak and the first surgery department of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital are treating about 50 children for cancer.
Many of these kids will celebrate the holiday in the hospital, under IV fluids... But it shouldn't be like this! A New Year's miracle for EVERY kid! That's why we've organized a magical holiday of childhood, where everything is possible!
Our matinee, or rather THE FAIRYTALE... A fairy tale that makes you believe in the best! Hugs from Santa Claus, sweet words from the Snow Maiden, rhymes on Grandpa's lap... Rhymes that we learned with such difficulty, because in the hospital, in the saddest place in the world, the belief in fairy tales somehow disappears... And then there are the presents - the magical, long-awaited, wishful thinking... Many kids, opening boxes and packages, whispering happily: "This is what I wanted! How did Santa Claus know?".
There are no words in the world with which to express gratitude to you, our Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens, who fulfilled the wishes of every child with cancer! Because a child's smile is priceless! Just like the kindness of your flaming hearts! Thanks to you, all children with cancer received personalized gifts! We are sincerely grateful to everyone who made New Year's miracles happen for the children! May only good things happen in your lives in the New Year 2021, and may loving people always be with you!
